WinCAGI5 is a food service point-of-sale computer software program which tracks students, teachers and guests as they are served meals in your cafeteria. The program contains information about meal cost, which meals each person is served, advance payments (account deposits), charges, and balances owed.  You can import student data in ASCII text file format from your school office program.  Each school year's data is stored in a separate folder to maintain a student's account history from year to year.

Download our WinCAGI Demo Install file to a folder where you can find it.  Be sure to close all open programs before you install the demo.  Install the demo from the windows Start button - Run option.  A WinCAGI54 DEMO icon will appear on your desktop.  To uninstall WinCAGI demo; go to your Control Panel - Add/Remove programs and remove WinCAGI54 Demo.

Meal Item Setup Screen
WinCAGI gives you the flexibility of customizing the products sold and the prices charged.  You are allowed over 46,000 menu items.  Item codes can be up to three letters, numbers are any combination of letters and numbers.  Menu item Barcode list or labels can be printed for scanning.  Barcode labels with UPC codes can also be printed.

Main Setup Screen
You can set up 6 different meal codes that can be up to 2 characters, for example; 01, 03, FR, PD, F, P, T, TR and so on.  A credit cutoff can be set for each.   The school calendar is a 365 day calendar that allows meals to be served on Saturday or Sunday and in the summer months.

Express Meals Serving Screen
With WinCAGI52 you can serve Express breakfast or lunch, by selecting the menu item (only one menu item can be served) and entering the student ID number.  IDs numbers can be entered by hand, with barcode scanners or student keypad.  Meals are recorded with no other action by the operator.  Only one reimbursable breakfast and lunch is allowed for each student per day.  A posting report will be displayed when the Close button is clicked with the mouse.  An error report will also be displayed if there are any posting errors.

Regular Meals Serving Screen
With WinCAGI you can serve breakfast or lunch, search by ID number or student name.  IDs can be entered by hand, with barcode scanners or student keypad.  Meals can be recorded with the mouse,  touch screen monitor,  keyboard function keys, upper and lower case letters and numbers. WinCAGI has the capability to print barcode student IDs with pictures. If you wish, student pictures can also be displayed on the serving screen.  Only one reimbursable breakfast and lunch is allowed for each student per day.   Deposits can be entered in the serving line to active accounts while meals are being served.
