Changes were made to the Grades section to improve network reliability and to improve the speed of loading and saving grades to and from the grades screen. Marks Version 5.0.52 (04-23-2002) 1. These changes were made to the Setup section: Duplicate entries in the Grades Tables are automatically removed when the user clicks on the OK button. Each Grades Table must be processed separately. If a Grading Periods system is already set up, the program will not overwrite that system even though other changes are made to the Grades Setup tab. The user will be warned if he/she attempts to remove a Category Code for which assignments have already been entered. The program will refuse to calculate averages using the Category method if an invalid Category Code exists. 2. These changes were made to the Grades section: If you leave the Total Points/Weight column blank when you add a new assignment, an error message will prompt you to fill in that value. The "save" routine on the Grades tab has been streamlined to take less time. 3. This change was made to Reports: The teacher "comment" field has been added to the Single Student Report. Marks Version 5.0.51 (09-19-2001) 1. Made changes to the backup option in WinMARKS. Marks Manager Version 5.0.33 (09-19-2001) 1. Made changes to the backup option in WinMARKS manager. Marks Version 5.0.50 (09-10-2001) 1. Made changes to security password for administrator. 2. The database are now packed when deleting students from student database. Added a cleanup for deleted students in pack database files. Marks Manager Version 5.0.32 (09-10-2001) 1. Added pack to marks student database before appending new students from WinOSCAR. Marks Version 5.0.49 (08-13-2001) 1. Added student average to top of Single Student Report. This change was made in version 5.0.49 and later. Marks Manager Version 5.0.21 (11-09-2000) Problem : Some Teachers Classes Not being Uploaded to WinOSCAR Some teachers classes we not uploaded to WinOSCAR from the teachers WinMARKS databases. This problem was corrected in version 5.0.21 and later. Marks Manager Version 5.0.19 (08-09-2000) Problem : Win Oscar's data path being changed This update to Marks Manager will fix a problem with WinOSCAR's data path being changed every time a download to a teacher is made. This problem was corrected in version 5.0.19 |
